Scoping an MVP

Start small. Build what you can validate.

The aim of a first version is learning, not completeness.

In the MVP
  • One core workflow done well
  • User sign-up and login
  • A simple data model
  • Basic dashboard or admin view
  • Deployment and monitoring
Later, once users validate it
  • Extra user roles and permissions
  • Advanced reporting and exports
  • Integrations with other tools
  • Billing and plan management
  • Performance and scale work
Architecture

Authentication and database foundations.

Decisions made early are the hardest to change later. We design the foundations carefully, then keep the rest simple.

  1. InterfaceWeb app and dashboards your users see and use.
  2. Application and APIBusiness logic and APIs that power the interface and connect other systems.
  3. Authentication and dataUser accounts, permissions and the database that stores your product’s records.

Custom business software

Software shaped to how your business works, instead of forcing it into off-the-shelf tools.

Dashboards and internal applications

Admin panels, reporting views and internal tools your team uses every day.

API development

Well-documented APIs so your product can connect to other systems.

Deployment and maintenance

Hosting setup, release process, monitoring and ongoing updates.

What we do not promise

Honest about what software can and cannot do.

  • We cannot guarantee that a product will find customers or reach a particular revenue.
  • Scope and timelines are agreed per stage; changes to scope are discussed before they are built.
  • Hosting, domains, AI usage and third-party subscriptions are billed separately.
FAQ

SaaS development questions

What is an MVP?

A minimum viable product is the smallest version of your product that solves a real problem for real users. It lets you learn before investing in everything.

Do you build products for clients or sell your own?

We build SaaS products and custom software for clients. We do not currently sell a ready-made Avytrix software product.

Who owns the code?

Ownership and licensing are agreed in writing before work starts. We discuss this on the first call.

Can you work on an existing product?

Yes. We can review an existing codebase and extend, improve or stabilise it. We tell you honestly what we find.

How do you handle security?

We use established authentication practices, least-privilege access and encrypted connections, and keep secrets out of source code. We do not claim formal certifications.

Have a product or tool in mind?

Describe the problem and who it is for, and we will help you scope a first version.
